         <description><![CDATA[<div>Accounting is the process of recording and summarising financial information in a useful way. It also refers to the process of analysing and reporting transactions to oversight agencies, regulators and tax collection agencies. Accountants use Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAPs) to create financial statements. The financial statements are a concise summary of hundreds of thousands of financial transactions that a company may have entered into over this period.<br><br></div><div>Book-keeping (financial accounting) is the process of recording and summarising financial information (e.g. sales, purchases, and expenses) and presenting them in financial statements which show the overall health of the business. <br><br></div><div>Management accounting provides information to a business for analysis, decision making, planning and control. In management accounting, an accountant generates monthly or quarterly reports that a business's management team can use to make decisions about how the business operates.</div><div> </div><div>Cost accounting helps businesses make decisions about costing. Essentially, cost accounting considers all costs related to producing a product. This information is used to determine what the product should cost. </div><div> </div><div>Businesses use accounting to keep their financial information organised which helps them in making sense of their financial data and also keeps them compliant of financial regulations.</div>]]></description>
