I truly believe that teamwork is important because that is the key for a successful school year, especially for me since this will be my first year at Horn and as a specialist. There will be times where my colleagues might not be able to give their 100%, but knowing you can rely on others to help close that gap is a blessing.

Kindness shines through

I believe that students need to know that we care about them and want what is best for them. We need to show them kindness to see them reach their full potential. This is also true for the adults that we work with.

I need to not get tied up in everything being "perfect" because it takes me more time than necessary to complete a task. I will try to not focus on too many of the fine details this year but more so on getting the most important information across.
