Who am I?

Hi ! I’m Beth Divino,born on the 27th of February, 2002 in Matag ob Leyte. My Parents were Elvira Divino and Rodrigo Divino. My Dad died at the age of 37 from heart attack. My Mom decided to have a new family or a new partner in life. I have 4 brothers and the 3 of them have their own family. I reflect a varied personality including ambition,and the qualities of generosity and thoughtfulness. I encourage fighting for what I desire and believe in,and doing it through God because nothing great comes easy and with God everything is possible.🥰

Where did I grow up?

I was born in Leyte but I grew up in Tuburan with our Grandparents. They have been taking care and guiding us. It’s hard not to have a complete family and it’s even harder when you have a mother but you don’t feel that she’s here but I understand and it’s fine because I have my Lolo and Lola who support and love me. Even if life is difficult I will still promise that I will be forever good and humble daughter.

What is my educational background?

I started school when I was 4 years old. I went to Daycare at Pastoral beside at Tuburan Parish Church and while I was there, I won an award for perfect attendance. I also won an award for honor student,then I attended Tuburan Central School and there I also won more awards and certificates. I graduated Junior and Senior at Tuburan National Highschool,a consistent honor student. I stopped 2 years of college because of financial problem and I decided to work to saved money,and because of my hardwork ,I am now a second year college student of Cebu Technological University Tuburan Campus taking up the Bachelor of Industrial Technology major in Food Preparation and Services Technology. I am also the Executive Secretary of TechnoRISE organization in CTU. I plan on finishing school to become a Professional Chef and own an expensive Restaurant.

What are my hobbies and interests?

I have many hobbies that I fill my time with. I enjoy cooking and baking because it keeps me happy in my life. Whenever I feel sad or upset,cooking ease that for me in a big way. I started cooking when I was 12 years old,but it simple as putting egg and ham between 2 slices of bread and used my favorite condiment of mayonaise and let it heat up for about 30 seconds. When I grew older, my knowledge of food grew to new depths when I learned how to cook American food. Now,in my college years, I am taking the major FPST because I want more knowledge and I want to learn more techniques in cooking. Cooking is the only thing in which I know how to do best and I usually cook for my family and boyfriend. My signature dish is pork with tomato concasse.

Morihei Ueshiba once said “ Failure is the key to success; each mistake teaches us something”. Everybody loves success yet not everybody accepts failure. My greatest accomplishment or my achievement in life so far is learning how to accept my failures. It is my motivation. It makes me stronger and wiser in choosing actions that I shall take and strive more to do better in my next steps in life. There were times that I failed being a student;being a good daughter,and being the best version of myself but I have dreams and I will not let that failure ruin my plans.

What are some of the challenges I’ve faced in life?

I had to stopped after I graduated Senior highschool because my grandparents could no longer afford me to enroll college because they are old ,I decided to work in order to help my lolo and lola and saved money so I could continue my dream. And here I am today blessed and happy because I really believe that God will never let us face pain and challenges that he knows we can’t handle.

How have these challenges shaped me as a person?

There are times that I feel down,I’m about to give up because I’m tired ,there are days that I saw one of my classmate in highschool going to college while me working all day instead of studying but I really hold back because I have a dreams for my family and for myself so everyday I persevere to saved money and continue believing,besides living in a fairy tale is like a boring life. Our challenges is what completes us. It feeds us with lessons that we can apply to ourselves and in daily life. It makes our life more interesting.💗

What are some of my future goals and aspirations?

Achieving goals is not easy. We may encounter different obstacle just to achieve it. I want to finish college ,work hard and buy a big house for my lolo and lola, I want to travel different countries with my homie 🥺❤️I want to build a expensive restaurant in other countries and hire many professional chef’s .Maybe my dreams are hard to reach but I may do everything whatever it takes. All of us have goals in life, for our love ones and for ourselves and this better me and my future goals concept widen my understanding to have hope and believe that nothing is impossible. I need to believe in myself to achieve my own goals with the help of my family and with God. I believe that there is nothing wrong when you have dreams or goals in life because it help us to be a better person in the future.❤️

Here are some fun facts about myself, first is I don’t use sunblock when I’m at the beach , second is there are 14 moles on my chest🙂 also I’m afraid of spiders,worms, and snakes and I recently learned that bees do a little dance to communicate with each other.😌

I already encountered many trials and challenges. Some were easy to manage while others were too much.There are disappointments, failures and even frustrations that I met through my journey. I am always inspired by the famous quote of Mahatma Gandhi, “ Live as if you were to die tomorrow and learn as if you were to live forever.” I am truly aware that my life here on earth is a gift and I live because I want to inspire other people and simply, to make a difference. I need to be strong for my family and for myself. People wondered how did I deal with these challenges,simple, by praying. 🙏There would be no other way to overcome life's challenges than trusting and having faith on God. I just give all my burdens on Him and I know He will never fail me. In this way, I know I can achieve my dreams.😌💗

Every one of us has an inspirations and influences in life .My inspiration in life is my family because my family is the one important to me without them I am not here living in this world. My family is very inspiring to me. Growing up with my grandparents always showed me how exactly things work in life. No matter what the circumstances were my family worked ,they give us the life we deserved. Without my family I can’t experince many things happiness in this world.
