(Unit 4 (part 2) page 6) This quote makes me think of the first of the most recent star trek movies. James Kirk is trying to become the Captain of the Enterprise so that he can save a lot of people. In order to do that he has to harass Spock, the Captain at the time, so that he hurts Kirk and shows that he emotionally compromised and not able to be Captain anymore. Spock is already sad because his mom just died. Kirk successfully gets Spock to choke hold him and then Kirk becomes Captain. Kirk's aim at harassment was to dominate Spock for the Captain position. In this situation there was no way around the harassment because this was how James Kirk was going to save the world. A lot of days i get new blisters on my hand and they really hurt, but I remember better what my coaches corrected me on during the practice instead of what blisters on my hand. My coach was trying to improve our boat but what they said also effected me psychologically because I was worried about how I was affecting my teams performance and so I fixed my stroke.
