Agave nectar is a natural food sweetener, but there are still some health consequences as it is high in fructose and could worsen liver health. It is also higher in calories than traditional table sugar. It is not necessary, in most cases it can be replaced by table sugar or other sweeteners. Other names for it are agave syrup or maguey syrup.&nbsp;</div>]]></description>
