Everyone was evidently hesitant to put themselves out there whereas I enjoy the uncertainty of not knowing who you might meet. 
The Name Game we played was a great way to get to greet one another and establish some sort of relationship.

When allocated in to groups to attempt Reader's Theatre, my group had to put our own spin on Hairy Maclary. We each had a character assigned to us in the script and overall I really liked the process of deciding how we would approach the piece. Acting as our dog (e.g. myself being Hairy Mclary so shaking my hair around when I spoke) allowed for our group to really get into our characters.

Embracing the setting you were trying to set and making it obvious to the audience what you were trying to perceive I found too be challenging but very enjoyable. Assignment 1, Part 1 was to be presented during our class tutorial this day and surprisingly I was rather excited to present.
As someone who normally struggles with public speaking I made an effort to 'fake it till I make it' and try my best to look confident. I was pleased with the effort myself and my partner Tayla made and received a mark I was content with. 
A major realisation I experienced in this class was that there was no need to be nervous prior too presenting, and that everyone would've been experiencing the same emotions. 
Along with this, there was also the realisation that AED1260 was a class that quite quickly eased everyone out of their own personal bubble.

Ms.McGhee introduced the class to the idea of 'Teacher in Role', where she took on the persona of the fictional character Queen Ezmerelda. 
Each student had to join her on this journey and became a soldier to assist in this adventure, and I personally believe that majority of not all of the classmates got really involved by the end of the lesson.

One activity completed was one where each student had to act as a machine, and perform a specific action which could be supported by others' actions. Trying to maintain the same speed as one another and similar 'levels' was difficult at first, but eventually got easier.
The most memorable activity for myself however was one where individually, we used a 'movement map' to choreograph a short dance routine. Individually we had to do a dance which reflected our name and our birthday. Not only this, but we also had to then partner up and perform it with another group in front of the class. For someone who most definitely cannot dance, I thoroughly enjoyed the activity and had fun going through the whole learning process. 
To finish class we got into our final groups and performed a dance to 'Space Rabbits of Broclkevoons', quite possibly the most catchy song ever. Myself, Tayla, and Olivia made sure that before we left we knew who was going to be in charge of what. Tayla took charge of the media component, Olivia the drama and myself the dance. Luckily my group was well prepared, and we had already chosen which song to dance to with a basic routine coming along. We were told that we had to do a full explanation run-through of our presentation in front of the teacher, and not many people impressed. I believe that in comparison to other groups we were on track, however still far from great. The groups continued to all absolutely smash their performances, and based off of Tania's final review before the end of class I believe everyone should be pleased with how they performed. Each group showed a clear understanding of the concepts covered throughout the semester, and incorporated them perfectly into their performance. I cannot wait to graduate and to have the opportunity to have my own class to help guide through the exact same journey. 
Also, thank-you very much Mrs. McGhee, I understand how challenging we may have been as a group to teach due to the quietness of the group, but you made the class as enjoyable and interesting as you could.
