         <description><![CDATA[<div>We discussed how we should be adapting the land acknowledgment to where we teach and the peoples who lived on that land. We think its also important that each teacher does their own land acknowledgement rather than it being said on the announcements to make it more personal. Having the students say the land acknowledgement in their own classes will have them become more familiar with the terms used as well.&nbsp;<br>If the land acknowledgment is said over the announcements, students should remain standing to keep focus on what they are listening to.  </div>]]></description>
