  • They understood our conversation

  • The students were very friendly

  • We didn't need to be reliant on our books most of the time

  • It was easy to answer questions when not in person

  • Sometimes the audio was unclear

  • We needed direction on who would talk first between the two groups sometimes leading to confusion on who was talking

  • Some people in the group were less enthusiastic about talking to the Japanese students
