         <description><![CDATA[<div>Tabi, Nabay, Kasey, Mason, Isabelle <br><br>Thesis: There are more difference between China and India because India has a stronger religious systems than those in China. <br><br> Culture differences- Indians religions Hinduism and Buddhism both believed in gods where as China's religions believed more to living life to the fullest another difference is how Buddhism spreads from India to farther regions and doaism stayed more into China. Also, in China they did not believe in reincarnation while in India for Hinduism and Buddhism they do believe in rencarnation.<br>Cultural similarities- they both believe in the importance of life such as confusions<br>Political differences- China had dynasty's that period of waring states which then ,the Han people wento war with the kun people.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Julia, Bush, Bri<br><br>Persia, China<br>Culture and Economic<br><br>Thesis: Persian and Chinese cultures were more different, which led to greater economic differences in the Classical period because of the more diverse belief system in Persia compared to the more centralized beliefs in China.<br><br>Culture:<br>Persian culture - allowed different religions to live on, Zoroastrianism- one god monotheistic beliefs, good vs evil, priests, honesty and enjoy pleasures<br>China's culture- Confusionism had strong relationships- which helped develop ansestor worship. Daoism- disengagement, unmaterialistic, encouraged cultivation of self knowledge<br><br>Economics:<br>Persia- very large, so they created major trading routes and the creation of the qanats.<br>China- the Great Wall of China to keep people in and invaders out.          <description><![CDATA[<div>Nick, Allison, Jasmine<br><br>Persia, china<br>Cultural and environmental<br><br>Thesis: The cultural differences outnumber the similarities in Persia and China because of the belief of a god, whereas the environmental similarities outnumber the differences in the classical period.<br><br>1- the culture in Persia is Zoroastrianism whereas its confusionism china. Even though they both try to live a kind life, Zoroastrianism has a punishment for the failure to do so. In confusionism, you're kind because that's what you want to do. In Zoroastrianism, the punishment for not living a kind and honest life is that you don't go to heaven.<br><br>2- the environmental&nbsp;similarities are that they built road systems which linked several regions together, this altered the landscape. They also built massive structures for protection and irrigation. Examples of these are the Great Wall of China, and the qanats that the Persians built for irrigation. A difference is China had a booming population due to their agricultural success.</div>]]></description>

Jainism and early Buddhism were not<br>-in persia ( Zoroastrianism) had one main god among many, in Hinduism there were many gods that weren't really more important. In Buddhism, there wasn't technically a god.<br><br>Thesis: In classical India and Persia there are more differences in political structure and culture than similarities because of use of centralization and religious beliefs.</div>]]></description>
