I think that the immigrants want money and are willing to get paid less in order to earn a job at a company. If an immigrant wants to work for less than a normal citizen wants for that same job, then the company will hire the immigrant over the U.S. citizen. Most immigrants want a better life than previously and are willing to go through the paperwork to get into the U.S. legally.
