Example from our class: A Modest Proposal, Paragraph 2.
                 "Whoever could find fair, cheap and easy method of making these children sound useful members of the community, would deserve so well of the public,  as to have a statue set up as a preserver of the nation.

Explanation: The reason why this an example of Benign/Violation Theory is because the character said that there must be someone  a method  that makes the children useful for the community and make a statue for him. It's kind of offensive because children are useless at start but there going to be useful in the future. Another thing is the statue. The reason I picked this because some of the statues in the world represents people who did something really bad in the world. The reason why this Benign/Violation because the character is using verbal irony.

Example from outside the class: Food truckers T-shirt selling 
                An owner of a Kentucky food truck called William Stown made a shirt, the shirt is called I support LGBTQ. The LGBTQ represents Liberty, Guns, Bible, Trump and BBQ. When he advertise the shirt he got threatening calls. Then he later said It's just a play of words and meant no offense.

Explanation: This is an example of an Benign/Violation theory  because This is quite offensive for the liberals because it involves all of them except for BBQ. The other reason why is this theory because he was just playing with the words and this is an example of verbal irony too.

Example #2 from outside 
               There is a shirt I saw in the internet. It was in the time the Japanese flood came. Then this shirt said "Pray for Japan but Remember Pearl Harbor.

Explanation 
          This is an example because Japan attacked Pearl Harbor and it was combined with a flood attacking Japan. It's a good combination to make this Joke Benign/Violation because one is tragic but time went  and the other is less tragic but it was recent. I think joke works because time has past when the Japanese attacked Pearl Harbor making it less threatening in this present day, we forgive Japan for what they did and then years has past then a tsunami came from Japan.                       I remember the time in class when we started the unit for humor and I also remember Mr Sutherland showing us a fail video and why it was funny.

Explanation: The videos that Mr. Sutherland shown us is a good example of Superiority theory because we are seeing someone fail and we feel like we are superior than them. It's like the sentence "it sucks to be them". I think the reason why fail videos are getting a lot of views because a lot of people watch it to feel confident about their selves or some people have a low sense of humor and that's how their getting a lot of views. I remember the time when I first watch fail videos I was laughing so much but now I don't have that feeling that laughter when I watch fail videos now.

                               Like any prank video we just laugh because it sucks to be them except if the prank goes to far. Here we see people going to be get embarrassed.
Explanation: I think this an example of Superiority theory because we get to see people embarrass and we kind of feel that we are superior than them and like the sentence "It sucks to be them".

                                   This Youtuber compares $1 English vs $1000 English. It's a really good video. 
Explanation: In this video he compared himself to a guy that is good at English. There is also a scene where the guy invited a guy who doesn't know much about English and he calls him $0 English.  There was a show that Mr.Sutherland shown us and it was Friends. He showed us a scene where the character named Ross, he wore tight leather pants to a date with a cute girl. The problem starts when Ross is getting hot with the leather pants, then when he was done with the heat he ask the cute girl he was dating and that he will use her bathroom, then he pulls out his leather pants in the bathroom and cool his legs of with water and a magazine as a fan. Then after he cool his legs, he founds out he cant fit his legs to the leather pants, then he call his stupid friend, then he calls for help from his friend, his friend said "put some water into it" then he tried it then didn't work, then his friend said put some baby powder into it, then he put some baby powder into it, now he tried to put in his pants but he couldn't then his friend said "put some lotion into it", then he put some lotion into it and it still doesn't fit, now the cute girl called him if he's okay then he said "I'm Okay I'll be there in a minute" then he saw the mess he made. Then Ross said can you turn off the light, the girl said "Why", then he cover his underwear with the messed up pants and then the girl saw the mess that he made then he said "I had a problem
Explanation: The reason why this is an example because it has a pattern where it begins with a problem then he founds a solution but the solution is another problem.
Example from outside the class: Mr Bean
                  There was a part in Mr Bean where he was removing the remains of the chicken. When he couldn't reach the rest of the remains, then the next thing that he did is put his the chicken to see where the remains are. When he put his head he couldn't remove the chicken at his head and then his Girlfriend knock to his door, then he said wait a minute and he puts a towel at the chicken so his GF can't see it. Then his GF came to his house, then he finds a hand saw, then he remove his towel and go to the kitchen so he can remove the chicken. At that time his GF saw him and she screams then faint, after that his GF help him remove the chicken. Then his GF Help him pull out the chicken but it didn't work and then they found another solution and it worked.

Explanation: I think the video follows the mechanical theory because is starts with spilling the coffee and then a co worker tries to protect a co-workers laptop, sushi and a map of Louisiana. Then the Co-worker pulls out a paper towel and writes in it, then the guy that wrote on the paper towel found a solution but it failed. Then another co-worker poured out garbage to absorb the coffee but it didn't work, then the other co-worker rip some hair and put it to the coffee and it didn't work. Then a gentleman brings out coffee to the office, then the gentleman spill the coffee and a worker called for help. When somebody answered the call he said" do you have a golf ball" and the co worker said "No but we have a ping pong ball", he said "that will work and throw it" and then the man threw it. Then the man said I have nothing for you now. Then one of the knight said that's not to tough, then the knight comes near to the bunny, then the bunny tears off the knights head and then all of the knight comes in to defeat the bunny but they didn't defeat the bunny. Most of the knights died because of the bunny.
Explanation: You don't expect a bunny, a cute and harmless creature kill a lot of knights.

                    There was a contestant and his name is Paul Zerdin, he performed a lot times in the show. The one that stick me the most is when he left his puppet, usually the puppet needs to be controlled with a hand. In the scene the puppet kind of give us a jump scare and he moved without him.

                       From the scene in Harrison Bergeron they are just imitating the ballerinas because they have beauty, they move freely and they know their moves. So what they did is put an ugly to cover their beauty, they use weights so they can't move that freely and they use an ear piece to distract them from thinking.

                   Isekai is a genre in anime where the main character is transfer or reincarnated in a another world. In this show they show us 4 of the most popular Isekai anime that are serious except for one because of comedy and moved them in a high school setting.
Explanation: The reason why I picked this because they are some serious anime in this show like Re zero where there is a lot of death involved, Overlord talks about ruling and Tanya the evil talks about the military. The serious animes turned them into a laughable anime in this anime. That's why It's a Parody.

                         In the comic they showed us a man that is ready to be hanged up and the time the executioner said what are your last words. The man said sausage. Then the Executioner said correct and there were playing hang man the whole time.
Explanation: The reason why I chose this because it surprised me that they were playing hang man all along and I thought or expected that the man will die from hanging but no he survive because he got right answer from a game of hang man.

                            this videos shows some types of people who get their exam results. There was one scene where the teacher said there is one student that got a 100/100 marks and there is one really smart one in the class. Then when the teacher gave out the paper it wasn't the smart one it was the cocky student and then after that the teacher gave someone 102/100 and it was the smart girl.
Explanation: It's a good example because you didn't expect that the smart girl will beat the cocky guy but she did.
