Some of the things I just LOVE doing are:

exercising by doing Pilates, running, lifting weights, or walking. Exercise is super important to me, not just for health reasons, but for my mental health!
taking long walks at our beautiful South Padre Island. I am so blessed to live only 20 minutes away from a beach, and I definitely take advantage and stop by twice a week for some dinner and drinks, for relaxing, or for running.
rewatching my favorite shows: Sex and the City or Love & Hip Hop.
flipping through magazines like Vanity Fair, Cosmopolitan, Better Homes & Garden, Vogue, etc.

I have been an English teacher for 7 years. I have taught middle school, 10th grade, and most recently, Dual Enrollment Comp 1 and Comp 2 to high school seniors.

I am so happy to share that I am starting a librarian media specialist position in August. My biggest thing stressing me out is that I have to pass the School Librarian Exam soon. Any tips/advice would be super helpful <3
