My goodness, what a journey it has been... I have known you since I was in BELLAS diapers and I have always been inspired by your big heart and integrity. I am completely honored to have taken that large step in my Lambda career to serve on the Board before your retirement. You are appreciated for all the hard work you have done. I will never forget the endless love and support you provided not just as a sister, but as a friend. Thank you for being a great role model.

I hate writing that phrase....thank you. They are just two small words and don't seem nearly enough for all that you've done or what I actually feel for you. In this org, I've heard people say: Lambda..turning girls into women and women into professionals (or something like that). That's actually bullshit. Lambda didn't help me grow up or grow into a professional....YOU did. And for that, I can never thank you enough. I love and respect you.

Where do I begin.... well I remember the DIAS in St Louis when I finally gained the courage to talk to you regarding joining the board due to my interest in Academics.... the rest is history (in DP duties but either way I am happy to be here :)) Seeing your work during these last couple of years has been eye opening and I don't think I can thank you enough for not only your Lambda work but for providing me with plenty of constructive criticism that has allowed me to grow as a professional.

Your family is the cutest and I look forward to the day Esaias and Roy get to meet to play and talk trains :)

Although there have been many ups and downs over the years I hope to be able to develop a better relationship with you. I was Southern Region liaison when you were Academic Chair and now on your last year on the board I get to serve with you again but this time as a Directora. Crazy how things always come full circle. It's amazing to see the changes that have been brought to the national board as a result of your continued service.
