For my first movie, I decided to go with "War Games". War Games represents many theories. One of the theories is the balance of power. This is represented by normal people who get hacked by a hacker who is literally just as smart as they are. Also, the girl helping in the movie also shows a balance of power due to being very intellectual and helping them out. A strategy used is the premption policy strategy. This means that force is used first, instead of waiting.

"Star Trek"

I won't lie-- I had to think "outside" of the box for this one. When looking at Star Trek, it reminded me of "bandwagoning." This is because the characters in Star Trek come across a problem when their path takes them on a collision course. In the journey, they find themselves in many weak spots that are sometimes hard to get out of. Their five year mission was known as the "{place} where no man has gone before." I think the strategy that best suits this movie would be deterrence. This is because they often used threats to prevent other people that they didn't like from doing something that they otherwise would do.

Now I normally don't bring too much romance to my classes, but after double-checking the definition of hegemon, I thought this would be the best one. In After, the lead role who is Hardin Scott, is a terribly cute influence on Tess Young. He is very influential and primarily gets Tess in a bunch of trouble. For the strategy of war, I have decided to go with compellence. Compellence is the best for this because Hardin was a very bad peer pressure to Tess, and he made her do somethings that she wouldn't have done on her own.
