It is a religious celebration when Christians and Catholics celebrate the birth of Jesus. Non-religious people celebrate it too.

At Christmas, people decorate their houses with a Christmas tree 🎄, Christmas decorations, and lights. In my house, we don't have a tree because we have 6 cats. We have small tree ornaments and neon lights all over the house.

At Christmas, people give cards and gifts to each other. They have a traditional Christmas dinner of roast turkey with cranberry sauce, roast potatoes, vegetables, stuffing, and gravy. After dinner, people usually watch Christmas TV or visit family and friends.

Some young children believe that Santa 🎅visits the house on his sleigh with his reindeers to deliver their gifts. I really love Christmas.

In my country we celebrate Eid. Eid is when we have all the family together and we pray in the mosque and also we make food together.Then we give out some of the food to our neighbours.

We celebrate New Year aswell. At New Year we get family together, make food and play games. We also celebrate Mothers Day, Fathers Day and Valentines Day.In the UK, we celebrate Christmas, Halloween, Bonfire Night, Easter and some others. Also at Christmas we
get a Christmas tree and decorate it. At Halloween we get pumpkins
and carve them.
