Here are some tips for you Bernard: (1) Be a Canadian citizen starting today - Mag luto canadian, mag saing canadian, mag laba canadian, etc. Ika-nga, “Happy wife, happy life!”; (2) Huwag sabayan ang topak ng asawa; and (3) Never kang magiging tama so accept mo na now. But kidding aside, always be there for each other.

Welcome to this new "Lianne era" of yours. It's been quite a journey to get to here, huh? But as I said on your virtual bachelorette, you really do remind me of poetry. You've always been so good with words, so pardon my rambling because I am not hahaha. I don't remember exactly what you wrote back then but I was always so amazed by how eloquent and intentional you are with how you express yourself. Very apt for a great SLP like you! Idk how I am one now cause I'm bad with expressing and very disorganized compared to you hahahaha. Anyway, I'm glad our friendship blossomed to what it is now despite not being in the same friend groups in college. But ever since you have been an inspiration by how lovely you are to everyone around you. Thank you for being such a ray of sunshine to us, for always lending a listening ear, and for all the advice both professional and personal. Pero syempre, I enjoy all our literal LOLs the most and the fun we have when we get to meet. Since we are all busy with adulting, I love how we can still pick up from where we left off no matter how long it's been.

For as lovely as you are, you deserve only the best and ito na cue mo Jak haha. I've only been able to hang out with Jak the night we had dinner and did karaoke in Venice Grand Canal Mall (ang cool lang kasi 02-02-2020 ung date and you ended up living in the area), but he definitely had a lasting impression on me & Nick (who is bad with names but always remembers Jak LOL). I loved seeing you laugh & sing with him. I could see you guys had so much chemistry and a real fun friendship as well.

So to Jak, I don't really need to be all protective friend and say this and that because I know you know how to love her best. Never saw her this happy and secure. Like how she said in her vows, I am so so happy she comfortably gets to be who she is and wants to be with you because you help silence her anxious thoughts *insert many many cries cause everyone deserves a love like this* I just want to thank you for also being that ray of sunshine to our ray of sunshine.

So to our newlyweds,

Thank you for having us witness your love and commitment to continue that love. I've been married under 2 years but here is what I have learned so far/can share: Enjoy every moment. On the hard days, try to remember the good days and your whys--why you love each other, why you committed to a lifetime together, why you prayed/wished to be where you are now, etc. Marriage can be challenging, it's different especially now that you'll be living together, you'll learn very new things about your partner that may or may not surprise you. This can be good or bad, but with open communication, willingness to accept differences, and choosing your partner every day, you will be able to make it mostly good. They say most fights stem from the need to be right, but if you look at each other's perspectives openly, you both will see that either can be right, it's more just trying to figure out what's important to the other. And sometimes, we can't completely understand why something is important to another, but if it isn't too much to modify our ways for the other so that our partner can be happy, wouldn't it be worth to put in the work? But yeah, this is such a fun and exciting time for you both! Living with your best friend and love is just so fulfilling in many ways.
