Some extreme cases like the Boston Tea party colonists couldn't get the British ships to leave so they attacked the ships and threw all of the tea off the ship. Some examples on goods that were taxed on is, sugar, coffee, certain wine, also on imported goods from other countries. The colonists disliked this which lead to, boycotting goods with taxes. Therefore, since the government was not making much money from the taxes. In addition to boycotting goods, the colonists also made protests against the taxes, one of the protests was the Boston Tea party.
