What is the most efficient way to reduce/eliminate the use of fossil fuels quickly without crashing the economy?

Side A: one way is to remove subsidies for fossil fuel burning companies, another would be to maybe have some people pay less in taxes if they use clean energy or make things that were made using clean energy or use clean energy a bit cheaper then products made by fossil fuels to slowly phase out things that require fossil fuels to be made

Side B: we cannot eliminate fossil fuels without crashing the economy, 79% of energy is produced from fossil fuels in america with that fossil fuels producing 84% of energy in the world. Look at right now how expensive gas prices are and trying to reduce the amount of fossil fuels will put gas prices higher than they already are. plus not everyone can afford things like electric cars or other climate friendly products or can afford the taxes that could be required for the government to help convert things to green items.

This bill is to give a path for immigrants who want to come to America after they have had to move due to climate change and if their government can't or won't provide another option for a place for them to live. Along with this it allows the government to provide foreign aid to people struggling under the effects of climate change and requires the state department to implement and report on a strategy to reduce the effects climate change has on humanitarian issues and displacement issues.

Climate change is a major issue that society is facing today. The amount of greenhouse gasses that humanity is pumping into the atmosphere is destroying the ozone layer of the atmosphere and is causing ice caps melt resulting in loss of habitat and rising sea levels. These increased temperatures are killing animals and other life and habitats both under water and on land.

Even if Climate Change is real its not man made and trying to do something about it while massively hurting the economy. Overall its not worth it to do anything about climate change even if it is real.

In a case the Supreme court has taken, West Virginia v. Environmental Protection Agency, attorney generals in 18 states are arguing that the 1970 clean air act limits the EPA to changes at individual power plants and not across the entire sector. If the Supreme Court sides with the states it could prohibit Biden from passing executive orders to try to get our carbon emissions cut in half by the end of the decade.
