What features did the writer use?
Some features that the writer used was that a big title to catch the reader’s eye at the beginning of the article, then they use subheadings to show the subtopics in the article and show the reader the important items. They had factual text on page 9 to help the reader understand why the writer is making their claim the reader also shows images of the kids who are trying to change things
How is the information organized?
I think that the information is organized in cause and effect because, in the first few pages, the writer talks about the cause of why the kids are revolting against the government, and also the writer shows the effect of the gun laws that we have now
Why is the information presented this way?
The reason why the information is presented this way is that the writer wants the reader to understand the problem and hand and teach about what they can do to stop the problem. They also want the reader to understand the children’s perspective
What is the main idea (central idea) of this article?
The main idea of this article is to show citizens the children’s perspective on gun laws in the united states and help the reader understand why they think there should be stricter gun laws

What features did the writer use?
Reading from a victim's perspective in the middle of the hardships they experienced definitely helped you slip into one's shoes. And leaving the article at an abrupt end shows you how this struggle is still in motion.

How is the information organized?
There is an order of events in the article, making it in chronological order. There is mention of problem and solution, but when the article drops off, not much of a solution has happened. only problem and trial and error.

Why is the information presented this way?
I believe the author was trying to put forth how their government slowly progressed from denial to trial and error, and putting the article into chronological order shows the progression in hardship by order of events. Overall, the organization of information shows how hard it was for their entire economy to adapt to the sudden situation.

What is the main idea (central idea) of this article?
Survival - Water is a vital part of our lives, not just drinking it but taking part in chores, food prep, and overall hygiene. Losing this vital routine and reducing your amount must be a drastic and very hard change to overcome.

What features did the writer use?
The writer uses pictures to give the reader a visual of what's it’s like to live with almost no water. Also giving captions to go into more detail about the topic.
How is the Information Organized?
The information is organized like a narrative because we are reading this article in a first-person perspective of someone who had to live through living without any water.
Why is the information presented this way?
It’s presented like this because readers can actually get into someone’s story about this and can try to show sympathy to this person instead of just reading about it as if it were a fact paper.
What is the main idea (central idea) of this article
People are approaching day zero with water as their last chance of survival

What Features did the writer use?
The writer uses their story and pictures to show what it was really like and the scare of being cut off from all water. Also what impact it had on the citizens.
How is the Info Organized?
The info is organized in a way that gives info from the government and then what it was like to be a citizen and gives you more of prospective on what it was like because the writer experienced it.
Why Is It The Information Presented This Way?
I think it is presented this way to make the reader almost feel what it was like and make them think about it or empathize to create light on the situation those people were in. Rather than just an informational piece with no first hand experience.
What is the main idea (central idea) of this article?
What it was like for the people who were going to possibly have to go through day zero and leading up to it.
