While I was living with my mom the neighbor had two puppies and we got one. When she grew up everyone said she was mine since no one else wanted to take care of her. When I moved into my sisters house I got to take the dog with me but after a few months her boyfriend gave my dog away because she would bark even though it's in her blood to bark to protect the house.

How does this relate to the theme?

This shows that dogs are not for every family because no one other than me in my family knows how to own a dog.
