Born: 23rd Aril 1957, Southgate, London
Influences: Pop Art and Dadaism
Studied Graphic Design at London College of Printing
Known for his use of typography.
Brody believed that people read magazines in a different manner than reading books. When reading a magazine people tend to browse; they don't read it from end to end. Readers tend to go back and forth picking out the interesting bits. Brody decided to use this idea in his design. To highlight the most interesting parts of an article or attract the attention of the reader, he used contrasting sizes, shapes or colours of type. This can be seen in his designs for The Face magazine.
Developed a series of fonts called FontFonts
