A Trip to Bromo Mountain - An Example of Personal Recount Text

Last year, I had an unforgettable experience visiting Bromo Mountain with my friends. It was one of the most exciting trips I have ever had. The breathtaking scenery, the fresh air, and the adventurous journey made it a memory I will cherish forever.

After arriving, we headed to the Sea of Sand. I was amazed by the vast, endless stretch of sand surrounding the area. Walking through the sea of sand felt like being in a different world. The strong wind blew dust into the air, making the scene even more dramatic. However, the view was absolutely worth it!

After exploring the sea of sand, we moved to Teletubbies Hill, a place that truly felt magical. Unlike the dry Sea of Sand, this hill was covered with lush green grass, creating a stunning contrast. The hills looked like the ones in the Teletubbies TV show, which is why people call them Teletubbies Hill. We took many pictures and enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere. The fresh breeze and the beautiful scenery made us feel so relaxed.

That trip to Bromo, especially the Sea of Sand and Teletubbies Hill, was truly unforgettable. It was a perfect combination of adventure and nature’s beauty. I hope to visit Bromo again someday and relive those amazing moments!

Putri Ika Ayundha (38)

Last June, I had a very exciting and unforgettable experience. It happened at my school during the graduation ceremony. I was with my classmates.

First, we gathered in the school hall, waiting for the ceremony to start. I felt happy but also a little nervous.

Then, the principal gave a speech about our journey and achievements. The place was crowded with students, teachers, and parents, and I saw many people smiling and taking pictures.

After that, our names were called one by one to receive our graduation certificates. I also took pictures with my friends and teachers to remember that special moment. The people around me looked proud and cheerful.

Finally, we threw our graduation caps into the air to celebrate. It was a very exciting and emotional moment.

At the end of the day, I felt proud and grateful. This experience taught me that hard work and perseverance led to success. I would never forget that moment because it marked the end of my middle school journey and the beginning of a new chapter in my life.

Muhammad Cetta Azaria/21/X-I

Tittle: My Trip to Dieng, Central Java*

Orientation

On holiday went to Dieng, Central Java, with my family. We had very excited in trip. We took a bus from Bojonegoro to Yogyakarta and then continued our journey by elf to Dieng. The weather was cool, and the scenery along the way was breathtaking.

Event

When we arrived in Dieng, we first visited Sikidang Crater. The smell of sulfur was strong, but the view was amazing. After that, we went to Arjuna Temple, a historical Hindu temple complex. We took many pictures and learned about the history of the site.

The next morning, we woke up early to see the sunrise at Sikunir Hill. The hike was a bit challenging, but when we reached the top, the view was spectacular. The golden sunrise and the air colded over the misty hills was unforgettable.

After enjoying the sunrise, we visited Telaga Warna, a beautiful lake that changes color due to its mineral content. The colors were stunning, and we spent some time walking around and taking photos. Before return home, my group visited Parangtritis Beach briefly and enjoyed the view which was a little hot after colded weather.

Reorientation

After two days in Dieng, we had to return home. We felt happy but also sad to leave such a beautiful place. The trip was an amazing experience, and we promised to visit again someday.
