Yes. UTM offered a conducive residence to all UTM student with a charge of RM 500 something for 1 room with 2 person and RM700 something for 1 room a person. The students also need to compete each other in collecting stam of activities in order to get a room in college their wanted. This is because there are some colleges that surrounded by many facilities and located near the bus stop. So many students will apply to be a resident there in order to utilize all the facilities and got a place in a bus so they get early to the class. Other option is, bring your own vehicle. The student year 2 and above can bring their own vehicle and go to class or anywhere by their own. A : Since it's not allowed for freshies to bring their own transportation, it is better for us to wake up extra early to get on the bus provided by the university. Other than that, depending on the amount of freshies intake each batch, the school can also provide extra transportation to reduce the queue on a bus stop, which also ensure SOP among students throughout their daily life in campus. Besides that, the faculty for biomedical engineering students is out of the campus. So, it's not really worth it to go back campus during short breaks between classes, unless it's urgent. A : During the 3 months holiday after finished semester 2 in the 3rd year ,join an intern job for example in the hospital ,company or other industries that to related to our courses but better to join intern job in the hospital to gain real experience. To get this job , we need to apply asap because it will be hard to get employed if we done it overdue. Then ,if we get a chance to work , try everything . Not to just sit in the office because it will be different when we get a real job in the future.
