It also ruined the oil and gas industry and resulted in billions of dollars in lost wages and business interruption. Necessitating billions in federal spending for reconstruction and recovery. Hurricane Katrina had an impact on people by loss of homes and jobs, causing displacement, a huge death toll, and long lasting mental health impacts like anxiety and PTSD.</p>]]></description>

We addressed his issue by emergency response from federal, which was followed by long terms efforts like the 126 billion dollar federal commitment for reconstruction. this caused infrastructure repairs and assistance to victims.  </p>]]></description>
