         <description><![CDATA[<div>This is a great game to get kids thinking about which math operation they should use as well as for adding and subtracting numbers.  For younger students, have them draw 2 cards one-by-one.  The 3rd card is their total.  The student must figure out with operation to put in between the first two cards they drew.  Ex: the child draws a 2 and 3.  Then they would draw either an addition or subtraction card to put in between the two cards.  Finally, they would solve for the answer.  For older students, you can use multiplication instead of division.<br><br><a href="http://childhood101.com/2014/06/maths-games-for-kids-uno-flip/#sthash.wWco51Kh.qjtu">http://childhood101.com/2014/06/maths-games-for-kids-uno-flip/#sthash.wWco51Kh.qjtu</a></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>This is a fun activity for students to play to practice subtraction.  Depending on the age of the student, you may want to use only single digits for it.  To play the game, students draw any 2 cards to be their target number (ex. they drew a 4 and a 5, so their target number could be 45 or 54).  Then the student draws 4 more cards and makes 2 two-digit numbers with them.  The student rearranges them however they want to make 2 different numbers.  The goal is to make a subtraction problem that gets an answer closest to the target number.<br><br><a href="http://homeschool.rebeccareid.com/double-digit-subtraction-card-game/">http://homeschool.rebeccareid.com/double-digit-subtraction-card-game/</a></div>]]></description>
