    : the age of reason promote that people start to think logically based of proof. then, the principle was brought into music as well and composers begun to write melody based on certain reason. during this time, "symmetrical notes" was invented as the reason to be comfortable music. this thing obviously developed music because principles is the elements which absolutely lead music to nice. therefore, I believe the age of reason contributed the music development.
