The author made sure to add all the emotions and details to make sure the reader could not put it down without reading one more chapter. I would recommend but not read again until you finish all the books so you would not get confused to where you are. It may seem like a love-type book, but it takes action into a new and crazy perspective. It takes inhumane to the next level of what we could even think of. The chapters of the book have very good examples of cliff hangers that made it hard to put the book down without reading the next chapter. She choose Dauntless instead of picking her old faction. People call her "Stiff" since she traded from Abnegation. Now she has to overcome the Dauntless initiations. As she starts making friends there she has to keep in mind that not all her friends will make the Initiation. In this amazing first book, Tris will have to learn the fact of "Faction before Blood". She will also have to learn to be brave, competitive, and how to hide her secrets.... They switch back and forth between views to see who is thinking what. If you have been reading the past books in this series, you will sort of be disappointed in the end. I recommend this book to teens to adults who have been reading the series. They head down a long dirt road where they run over spikes set out almost like a trap, Jacks mustangs wheels pop and luckily there's an old Victorian house in the backwoods of Alabama. Coincidence? There are three inhabitants (Betty, Pete, and  living there. They check in and have dinner with them, along with another another couple (Randy and Leslie) that were there too. Things go downhill from there. Betty starts continuously asking Stephanie about ice. Then Pete starts harassing Leslie saying he wants her as his wife.  Not only do things get heated up by that, but a killer named White locks  everyone up in the house and the rules are only something a madman or worse would write.
1. God came into my house and I killed Him. 
2. I will kill anyone who comes into my house like I killed God. 
3. Give me one dead body and I might let rule 1 slide. 
You have until dawn.

This is an amazing thriller/horror book for more mature readers because of the content. reimagines the historical events of the Titanic with a little bit of sci-fi and horror. It goes into the back story of how the titanic "really" sank. I would recommend this book to teens and young adults looking for that thrill and excitement that will keep you on the edge of your seat. When she started school again, she was starting to get bullied. She started going into deep depression and started cutting, drinking and all sorts of other things. She starts going into counseling and little did she know, if she could fall into depression, she could climb her way back out. No ghost story can compare to the human carrier of a bioengineered terror.... This thriller is amazingly scary and a very "keep you on the edge of your seat" kind of book. I would recommend this book to teens and adults because of the adult content and to only those of teens and adults that can take exciting scary thrillers and to those who have a strong stomach.

As a part of the district surrender, each district have to send one boy and one girl to participate in a very violent "game" called The Hunger Games, where every tribute has to fight to the death in a very unique arena until there's one victor remaining. 16 year old Katniss Everdeen was awaiting for a girl to be called from district 12, which is the district Katniss lives, and is hoping and praying that her little sister, who just became old enough to be called (12-18), won't get called. Unfortunately, even though the odds were very slim, she got called. Katniss, freaking out, yells, "I volunteer as tribute" and becomes the girl tribute for district 12. Little did she know, a guy who she rarely paid attention to, got called.
