nce I figured out there was no connection, I went back and read for a different meaning (which I still didn't get much).

I found myself trying to read closely and carefully, but I still had difficulty due to my lack of background knowledge. I tried visualizing what was going on, paying close attention to any verbs. At one point, I found myself just "word calling" to get through the passage. I read the passage several times in order to comprehend the unfamiliar terminology. As others have mentioned, the only way for me get answers to the questions was to go back and find them in the text.
