  2. What characterizes this landscape? List five words that are useful for describing it. If you can't think of the words in English, think of them in Danish and look them up in a dictionary

    5. Bird's eyes view 
  3. Agree on a description of the landscape, using the five words.
    1. From a bird's-eye view we look at a beautiful, hilly landscape. It looks vigorous because of all the green colors. 
  4. Your notes should now contain the following:
                 Your names
                 The name of the country 
                 The five words 
                 Your description

When you are done, transfer your notes to a sticker on the Class Board. NB: Please do not formulate your answers on the classboard itself.

    • His heart stood still when he saw it (the river) because of its size and beauty. 'Manawatu' is broken down into two words. Manawa meaning heart, and tu meaning standing still.

What sort of images does the writer use to describe her surroundings?
"Under the great soup-bowl of the  sky the animal runs - the grass runs" - 
"it (red the grass) moves under my hands like a living animal" 
What is the effect of this kind of creative language?
The reader forms image in his head while reading such a creative text. It force you to make an afford to picture it. 
How does it  compare to the description you made in Activity 1? 
It is described more creative, strange and sophisticated than we did. It is described more with a figurate language.
How does it compare to a factual text on geography?
A factual text describes what you can actually see. This text is more focused on what you can actually feel(Subjective)
