Mdm Ong struggled not to cry and managed a very soft, " Don't worry darling. You will still see me in school! I love you guys very much!"

My classmates and I yelled at the top of our lungs, "We love you too!"

With that, the party started and we leapt into action.

The other class monitor served an ice cold mug of ribena to Mdm Ong. Mdm Ong gobbled up the food and exclaimed that everything was delicious. 

Group 3 and Group 4 set up the musical chairs. Group 5 got the music ready and Group 6 got the presents ready. The class worked as a team and demonstrated great teamwork! Mdm Ong was treated like a queen throughout the whole party. She was visibly pleased as she witnessed how matured and well brought up her students had grown up to be.

Mdm Ong seemed to be having the time of her life. Her face was radiant and she was grinning like a cheshire cat. 

We were also having a ball of a time. The classroom resounded with laughter as we bonded over charade, musical chairs and delicious home-made food, painstakingly prepared by our parents.

Soon, the bell rang and it was time for us to stop the party. We hugged and bade each other farewell. Some of us started tearing and were comforted by our classmates. Some of us became very quiet as we tried to compose ourselves and manage our emotions.

Mdm Ong addressed the entire class," Thank you 2.10 for making this the best day ever! I will miss you and I wish you all the best!"

Many of our classmates rushed up to hug Mdm Ong.  We ended up in a massive group hug. It was a tearful farewell, but a successful class party. This incredible memory would  be etched in my mind forever.
