         <description><![CDATA[<div>I have been using SLACK, an online communication platform to engage with my students in real time, in and out of the classroom.  We use SLACK in the classroom to email, text message, instant message each other on our phones or laptops while in the classroom, or out in the field on a film shoot  or in a meeting.  We can share files, URL's, quick ideas, it can also be used as an online portfolio. etc. I have also been using different project management techniques in my primarily Project Based Learning classes, and some of them are very useful time saving techniques.<br><br></div>]]></description>

Fifth grade students collect real-time data for a light pollution citizen science project.  Students have homework assignments to observe the night sky using parameters from Globe-at-Night.  The data is input in the Science lab at designated stations. </div>]]></description>

I am the Executive Producer and my students are the film crew modeled after real life film productions.
