Artist Statement:  In my artwork, I try to focus on the fluidity of gender expression. It's an ever changing and growing atmosphere. The blues represent the masculine side. The warms tones are the fem, plus everything in between. In the superficial but the most meaningful cliche - nothing is more beautiful than the freedom to be yourself. I can change the world by sharing this message.

Artist Statement: The people throwing the plastic bottles are showing people polluting, the turtles show all the turtles that eat these by mistake and choke, the trees and the goat show how nature is getting hurt by this, the houses with the recycle bins show that we can all make a change by recycling and saving ocean animals lives. The sun shows that if we all change our days will be brighter, the plastic bottles on the ground sho how much trash is left on the beach to be eaten by wild animals (which is not good).

In the unfortunate case someone else were to have what I have, they'll have the chance to not miss anything because they don't know what they are dealing with, and they have to deal with it for too long, and I hope to change their world.

Artist Statement:  In this painting, the prominence of the dandelion growing between the blades of grass represents the importance of plants we consider "weeds." Just because they might seem to ruin our yards of green grass doesn't mean that they have no importance. We can change the world by being less paranoid about our perfect lawns and learn the importance of dandelions and other wild flowers and weeds. The bee flying by the dandelion represents bees and other pollinators who need these plants to live and pollinate. Without pollinators, fear the worst!

Artist Statement:  Seventeen people die each day waiting for an organ donation. A single donor's donation can save eight lives and enhance more than seventy-five others. My pieces takes a somewhat literal take on this idea. One could change the world by checking that little box on their driver's license, with very minimal effect on their life. But in another, deeper sense my piece comments on how the only way we can truly change the world is by giving up ourselves entirely.
