         <description><![CDATA[<p>Continuous glucose monitors continually monitor your blood glucose also known as blood sugar, giving you real-time updates through a device that is attached to your body without having to worry about finger sticks throughout the day or night. These have been considered a practical treatment option for those with Diabetes.</p><p><br></p><p>The CGM is made up of 3 main parts. A sensor (usually attached to the back of the arm, thighs or abdomen), transmitter and receiver/smart device/insulin pump.</p><p><br></p><p>Reddy, N.          <description><![CDATA[<p>Pros of a CGM are more personalized and varies from person to person. However, Overall the pros in general are:</p><p><br></p><p>Shows user a broad picture/report on how diabetes affects them &amp; how their glucose levels change overtime.</p><p><br></p><p>Provides more personal care notifying user if their blood sugar becomes too low/high. Allowing user to make changes quickly so that they're are able to treat or prevent.</p><p><br></p><p>Is more efficient in regard to time &amp; labs during Doctor visits. Your provider is able to download, review and adjust care from your device.</p><p><br></p><p>Reduces Finger sticks.</p><p><br></p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>Like any electronic device, CGM's do have a downside. </p><p><br></p><p>COST</p><p><br></p><p>Alarm Fatigue</p><p><br></p><p>Some readings can be inaccurate due to certain medications such as Acetaminophen, Hydroxyurea, &amp; Vitamin C.</p><p><br></p><p>Issues with adhesive.</p><p><br></p><p>Not the most stylish accessory to wear on the body everyday.</p><p><br></p><p>Information overload. This sometimes can be popular in geriatric patients when they're non-tech savvy.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>Amelia will provide Adaptability because in healthcare times will arise where there is uncertainty, change and crisis in technology. Amelia is very good at adjusting to new updates, learn from feedback and improve her performance.</p><p><br></p><p>Faith is very innovative. She will showcase her Futuristic skills by enhancing diagnostic accuracies, personalizing treatment plans, and possibly predicting some patient outcomes.</p><p><br></p><p>Isabelle will discuss and include patients in their care. As well as encouraging them to pursue what is right for them so that they feel seen and heard. </p><p><br></p><p>Louis will learn new ways to improve and promote patient care. His strength adds to the team by him always having a great deserve to become proficient and acknowledge ways to exceed patients expectations.</p><p><br></p><p>Randal will bring Responsibility because dealing with such device, it can convey the impression that patients may not need to be as careful. However, he can reinforce that though the device does allow more freedom, its is key to eat healthy, pay attention to alarms, switch out sensor and keep up with monitoring.</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>As a med surg nurse who has encountered many CGM's, It has provided a practical way for patients to monitor and manage their blood sugars. CGMs are pretty accurate, decreases the workload of nurses, and provides safer patient care. They are convenient and appropriate for kids allowing parents to make certain that their Childs Blood sugar is within healthy range when at school or asleep. They are favorable and fit into the lifestyles of active adults that are always on the go &amp; elderly patients who may have caregivers/family members (not always present) that can manage their blood sugars from a device. Overall, CGM's are less aggressive on the fingers and very efficient.</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>My strengths are:</p><p>Analytical because there should be a balance. prioritizing the care of a patient but also advocating whether this is the best option for a patient and their lifestyle.</p><p><br/></p><p>Consistency is key in a team. Being able to consistently give the same work ethic everyday and your team being confident within you gives successful results.</p><p><br/></p><p>Positivity will set the tone for you and your team. It will allow a thriving work space and increases productivity, creativity and motivation.</p><p><br/></p><p>Focus allows me to maintain and prioritize my tasks, while limiting my distractions so that I'm most useful to my team.</p><p><br/></p><p>Communication just sets the team up for success. Being a leader I will ensure to communicate respectfully and timely with my team. This ensures my team has the information they need, and eliminates inefficiencies.</p>]]></description>
