Pavlova rejects the gender binary enforced by the archaic family dynamics studied in the BBC documentary resorting to violence, taking out her frustrations by strangling the patriarchal figurehead of the Oscar. taking it upon womanself to conduct woman’s own research, debunking the influence a father's sex has on their abilities as a caregiver, arguing a father's style of play is not an evolutionary, testosterone-induced, sex-influenced style but rather a learned one. in true behaviourist fashion Pavlova interprets behaviour as conditioned, a true Pavlov at heart.
