         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>Religion in the middle colonies was very diverse, including (but not limited to) Quakers</strong>, <strong>Mennonites, Lutherans, Dutch Calvinists, and Presbyterians. This happened after years of bickering and arguing, before the citizens realized that they had to give respect to get respect. They learned to all live in harmony and soon became a set of colonies that varied in their religious beliefs.</strong></div>]]></description>
