The blockade game begins with placing black and white stones in the middle of the bottom and top rows of the 7x7 board (in the 4th squares). The owner of the black stone always starts the game. In the first move, the player moves his own stone, then starts the game by placing the red obstacle stone in an empty square of his want in the playing field. The main goal of the game is to restrict the opponent's movement area by using red obstacle stones strategically and make him unable to move (blockade).

HOW TO PLAY MANGALA?

Mangala is a Turkish intelligence and strategy game played by two people. The game board has 12 small pits, 6 on each side, and a large treasure pit for each player to collect their stones. Mangala is played with 48 stones.

Players distribute the 48 stones, placing 4 stones in each pit. The 6 small pits in front of each player constitute that player's region. The 6 small pits opposite belong to the opponent. Players try to accumulate the most stones in their treasure pits. The player who collects the most stones at the end of the game wins the game set. The game starts with a draw. There are 4 main basic rules in the game.

1. BASIC RULE: The player who wins the draw takes 4 stones from any pit in their own region. They leave one stone in the pit they took the stones from and distribute the remaining stones counterclockwise (to the right), placing one stone in each pit until all the stones in their hand are gone. If the last stone in a player's hand lands in their own treasure pit, the player gets another turn. If a player has only one stone in their pit, they can move it to the pit to their right when it's their turn. The turn then passes to the opponent. Each time, the last stone remaining in the player's hand determines the fate of the game.

2. BASIC RULE: When it's a player's turn, if they have stones left in their hand after distributing stones from their own pit, they continue to place stones in pits in the opponent's area. If the last stone in the player's hand lands in a pit in the opponent's area and makes the number of stones in that pit an even number (2, 4, 6, 8, etc.), the player takes all the stones in that pit and places them in their own treasure pit. The turn then passes to the opponent.

3. BASIC RULE: If the last stone in the player's hand lands in an empty pit in their own area, and if there are stones belonging to the opponent in the pit opposite the empty pit, the player takes both the stones from the opponent's pit and the stone they placed in their own empty pit and places them in their own treasure pit. The turn then passes to the opponent.

Objective of the Game

Temel Oyun Kuralları

1. İlk Hamle: Oyuna her zaman beyaz taşlar başlar.

2. Sıra Tabanlı: Oyuncular sırayla tek bir hamle yapar. Kendi taşınızın olduğu kareye gidemezsiniz, ancak rakip taşın olduğu kareye giderek o taşı oyundan alabilirsiniz (taş kazanma).

Before playing, the students in class 1A IC A. Diaz Vernole learned about the history of Scopa and its simple rules. The aim of the game is to collect cards from the table by matching the value of a card in your hand with a card on the table, or by using a card to collect cards whose values add up to the same number. If a player collects all the cards from the table, they score a "Scopa", which means "sweep" in Italian.

The children were divided into small groups and took turns playing. They had fun learning the rules, practising their counting skills, and working together while enjoying one of Italy's best-known traditional games.

* Each player chooses one color (21 pieces).

* The first piece must be placed in your assigned corner of the board.

* Every new piece must touch at least one of your own pieces, but only at the corners.

* Your own pieces must never touch side-to-side.

* Pieces from different players may touch in any way.

* The game ends when no player can place another piece.

* The winner is the player with the fewest squares remaining in their unplayed pieces.
