When I was five years old I started the school in kindergarten grade. It was in the year two thousand and five. I remember that I felt very scared because I was very shy but my teacher helped me a lot to feel better.

I WAS PART OF THE SCHOOL'S MARTIAL BAND

In 2011 I was in six grade in the school, my sister was in the same school but in seven grade and I wanted to belong to the martial band and my sister was a member of it so she taught me what to do and they aceptted me. I felt joyful, I was in the band for the rest of the years until I graduated.

MY GRANDMOTHER PASSED AWAY

My grandmother was a wonderful person, she was kind, supportive and generous. She passed away in two thousand fourteen while was in her house with my sister and I. I felt very sad and confused because this happened suddenly, it was a difficult time in our lives , I will always miss her.

I GRADUATED FROM SCHOOL

In 2017, when I was seventeen years old I graduated from school, I remember that it was a year of many efforts and dedication. In October I took the ICFES exam and I got a very good score. I felt proud of myself and my family too, I was optimistic and excited about this.

I STARTED TO STUDY AT THE SENA

I started to study at the SENA institution in the year two thousand and eighteen, I chose the tecnic course of sistems. I had a study schedule similar to school so I felt glad. The schedule were Monday through Friday, from six in the morning until one in the afternoon. There I made good friends and learned a lot.

I GOT MY FIRST JOB

When I finished study in the SENA I got my first job in a hardware store called SERVIMEZCLAS in the city of Chiquinquirá, in that moment I felt very fearful because I didn't know anything about the job, but with the help of my co-workers I learned about the tasks that I had to do.

I LOST MY JOB

In the hardware store I worked two years but in February of two thousand twenty, my boss decided to lay off staff and I was one of them. This situation was very difficult to my family and me because in March started the pandemic crisis. We felt worried, scared and fearful.

WE FINISHED OUR HOUSE

Fortunately, with my family we were able to overcome these moments where we felt alarmed and lonely, I got other job, my sister got one job too and with harder work and dedication we started and finished building our own house. It was a dream came true.

I TRAVELED TO MEDELLÍN

In 2022 I traveled to Medellín. Me, my mother, my sister and my aunt took a bus that left us in Bogotá and then other that went to Medellín. It was at thirteen hours journey. We were there for fifteen days, visited important places in the city, we ate typical dishes and desserts.

I STARTED THE UNIVERSITY STUDIES

In August of 2023 I had the chance to apply to study at the UNAD, I always dreamed of studying in higher education so I was very happy and proud. Right now, I am studying the Bachelor of arts in foreign Languages with Emphasis on English.
