With students there is an agreement on retaking the topic of fractions due to as a group there were some aspects that were missing related to the topic.

Also students were working on the booklet pages 42 - 45.

October 3rd
Matific time: students could continue practicing the topics seen in class through the use of the platform Matific. In the second part class hour, students were taken to the auditorium to have the talk about sexuality (orientador escolar)

Students watch a video about bar graph and its important parts. Then they write and draw the most important information and work on pages 53, 54 and 55 from the booklet.


October 24th

Bar graph activity - Students are divided in groups of 3 using class dojo and they are assigned a different category in order to go around the classroom asking questions and then organize the information in a bar graph. After they finished, they had to present oraly their findings to the group.


October 25th

No class on wednesdays


October 26th

Students finish presenting their bar graphs and they were asked about the activity (How they felt during the activity, what were important aspects of working in group). After that feedback they were working on the Math booklet pages 53 to 55.


October 27th

The teacher asked questions about the examples given in the video.

Students worked on the concept of probability and the vocabulary related to it. Then the teacher gave students examples related to the school and the classroom in order to make sure that the topic was understood. After that the teacher showed students some excercises in Matific and assigned some others to practice at home.


October 31st


Students were reading and talking about probability, using an infographic about causes of death, They could read percertages and mention examples from their own lives. The concept of probability was reviewed again and the topic was closed.


November 1st

No Math class.


November 2nd

Students were working on the graph for the magazine, they continue organizing the information and working on the bar graph per each question.


November 3rd

Students were shown a video about coordinate plane in which they could learn about it. Then, they were given a worksheet to find a secret image by connecting coordinate points.
