It started the main part of the presidency for George Bush and started initiatives to stop terrorism. In the article it concludes how President Bush sent troops to end the Taliban (the terrorist group which sent men to complete the attacks.) and after 10 years his efforts led to the leader of the Taliban being killed by the U.S military. When Gretchen said "so you told everyone in the whole school about it!" i thought 'well not everyone!' because they never told me! So after that the girls on the swings went to the other swings with gretchen, ghost cat & the other girls went somewhere else, i was left on the swings getting ready to cry, but the night after that i went onto roblox & told ghost cat that i was upset because i had to pick sides! But ghost cat told me i don't have to! i don't need to get involed! I was so relieved! & when we started on the topic 9/11 the next day, it reminded me that i had a lot of moments that made me feel like i was in 9/11! We have been in a war with the islamic extremists for the past 16 years, ever since 9/11. The terrorists, were islamic extremists from Saudi Arabia, and were on orders to attack the twin towers, and a few other locations. They succeeded in crashing into the twin towers, causing them to crash, and failed to crash into only one of their destinations. Many firefighters, and police officers gave their lives to protect others, and many other innocent lives were taken from them as they were going about their normal day. This is indeed truly a tragic story in which many loved ones were lost, and still many more injured severely. I hope that in the near future we can stop this war. This is all that i have learned today about 9/11.
