An experience where my perception clashed with another, is when we had a project due in a few weeks and 2 team members wanted to focus on making it fun while the other 2 and i wanted to make it informative. This perspective changed my understanding as it proves that for a good outcome, there must be balance and different perspectives. Obviously, this shows that there has to be more than 1 way to perceive a task, and that is what differentiates us and makes us human.

i wrote the number 6 on a paper, and my friend argued it was a 9. once i flipped the paper, it became a 9 for me. this shows that what one may perceive is not what everyone will. each and every being has a different sense for emotion, thoughts, feelings,etc. which alters the perception of each person creating this distinction between people and one anothers thoughts, further creating a broader understandinf of things through different minds.

Before, I used to hate horror movies due to them being terrifying to me , but my friends loved it. When we met at my house, they begged me to watch a horror movie with them until I agreed by telling me it is pure fiction and is not worth getting scared of. After watching it with my friends, my perception of horror movies mainly due to having close friends by my side, and I no longer viewed them as something I feared.

I've always hated tennis since i was small because i thought it was boring, but my parents always used to force me to play it. As i played tennis over the years, i realized the tennis isn't actually boring and useless. I realized that it's a sport that promotes calmness and it eventually became fun once i started to gain knowledge about it.

I used to view freedom as a mean to have control over ur actions and thoughts but after viewing another person’s perspective on it, it happened to also change my view on it, seeing freedom as being unconfined by others or by anything or by the chains of life while having ur own thoughts, actions and attitude towards others and life.

My mom has this fear of house pets or more like she's disgusted of them , but my dad and I like having pets around the house he likes having birds and cats around the house until my mom convinced my dad and I that having a pet is nothing but a pain explaining how they're dirty and feral but my dad argued that they offer solace and are nice to have around
