Although you may not notice it, the US is losing service in companies like restaurants and personal service businesses. Have you ever gone to a restaurant and the food takes 30 minutes to come out or your waiter is slow? Well, it's most likely not because your waiter is lazy. It’s because she/he is waiting 6 other tables at the same time since they are understaffed. I am interested in researching how unemployment affects the government. Also wondering if anyone has found a solution to resolve this national issue.

Comparing unemployment vs employed. Also, stating definitions for each. The point of this article is to inform the readers about employment and the causes of it. This source is biased because it was written off of someone's knowledge and not on research. This is a Britannica that is very biased. However, it is a very useful source if you are getting a broad overlook of information. This source fits into my research because it is a prime example of an article that uses a biased opinion to inform the reader in a respectful manner. It might convince more people to care about unemployment because it compares and contrasts my topic.

The point of this article is to show the reader how many people were affected by this. Many people lost money which made them financially unstable just from being unemployed. This source is not biased because it is a mix of first hand experiences. This compares to my first source very well. My first source was mainly biased and this one is primary sources coming together to inform the readers about the effects unemployment has. I believe this fits into my research because it gives the reader a diverse understanding of my topic. It’s a helpful article because it will convince more readers to care about unemployment and the economy facts.

The point of this article is to give statistics and reasoning behind finding different ways to make a living. I think this is a very useful source because its a reporter gathering information. The reporter is a little biased on this topic. However, this is a very recently published source that gives an honest opinion on unemployment. This fits into my research because it explains how having to make your own small business and those job offerings are increasing at a higher rate than franchises shouldn’t be needed. I believe this is one of the best sources.

There are many perils caused by people being indifferent and the rates are just generally speaking. Diving deeper, if you are unemployed you have less of an opportunity to get hired because of your employed status on your resume. Customers are also affected by unemployment rates due to poor service in the businesses that offer service. None of my sources gave a clear solution to my topic. One “solution” that I feel is not spoken enough is increasing the government's spending. This would make the output demand more in the citizens’ favor and cause a rapid decrease in unemployment rates. However, I chose to use “” around the word solution because increasing the government's spending could possibly increase inflation. The odds are in the unemployment rates’ favor in this case.
