SilkWings have two pairs of wings, one pair smaller than the other, with membranes that have rounded edges. While Pyrrhian dragons have bat-like wings, SilkWings have more insect-like wings, with rounded edges, which can be compared to butterfly wings in design and shape as well as appearing to be partially transparent. The bigger pair of wings appear to have four or five digits that the membrane is stretched between. The smaller pair of wings attach in front of the larger pair, in the armpit area, and have two or three digits. SilkWings appear to have plated scales, and have small spines running down their back, to the tip of their tail. Their scales appear to be somewhat iridescent, similar to NightWing scales. They have long and slim bodies, similar to RainWings. Their horns are curved, almost RainWing-like in shape, but much thinner. A second pair of even thinner horns/antennae is situated on the brow, just above the eyes. The ridge above their eyes runs over their horns, giving it a plated appearance. So far, they appear only to have amber/yellow eyes.
Discibsion
     SilkWings can be any kind of color under the sun, such as olive green, aquamarine, lavender, indigo, amber, orange, and red, with the exception of black or any other black-related color such as gray. The wing membranes appear to be different colors too, as well as certain segments between the digits being a different color than the rest of the wing. The wings seem to resemble certain species of butterfly, as Blue's wings looks like a blue morpho butterfly. Tui has said that the SilkWings could be named after different species of butterflies, and this has since been confirmed.
     They start their first period of life without wings, then spin into cocoons, and come out with wings. They can also spin silk, which is most probably a reference on what they are based on.
Ability
Silkwings above the age of 6 can fly and shoot silk from their wrists. A rare subset of the latter power is "flamesilk."  It is a condition similar to firescales. The SilkWing can shoot solid fire, almost in silk form, from their wrists in the same way other normal SilkWings shoot silk. Luna and Admiral are the only confirmed characters to have this ability. They are ruled by Queen Wasp as well as being primarily based on wasps, as confirmed by Tui T Sutherland. It is likely that the Legend of the Hive mentioned by Hope in the epilogue of Darkness of Dragons is about them. HiveWings, along with SilkWings and LeafWings, were confirmed by Tui to be the three Pantalan dragon tribes. Their colors include red, yellow, and orange, and always black.
Discripiction
     According to the description in the Pantala dragon guide, HiveWings can be red, yellow, and/or orange, but always mixed with a few black scales. They have four wings. The common belief among HiveWings is that the reason why they have black scales because they share the same ancestor, Clearsight. They can have venom in their teeth, talons, or a gland in their wrists that has a spike of venom similar to platypuses.
Ability
According to the Pantala dragon guide, the HiveWings' powers can vary from dragon to dragon. Deadly stingers extending from their wrists, venom in claws or teeth, paralyzing toxin, and boiling acid that can be shot from a barb on their tail are a few examples. They are most often named after types of trees.[1] They had green and brown scales, and wings shaped like leaves. LeafWings are able to absorb sunlight, and most were accomplished gardeners.
     They nearly became extinct after they were defeated in a war with the HiveWings after refusing their rule, with Sundew, Belladonna and Hemlock being the last known living LeafWings.}

Description
     LeafWings had green and brown scales on their body, along with leaf like patterns across their body, they had appeared to have webbed spines, similar to a SeaWings' while their snout looked similarly to a RainWing's. They also had a flat tail, ending in a leaf shape. Their wings are also leaf-like, with leaf veins in the webbing and their wings in the form of branches, complimenting their name. Their horns appear to be skinny and flat ended, almost like leaves.
Ability 
     LeafWings were able to absorb sunlight, they are said to have been accomplished gardeners, and it is rumored some had unusual control over plants.}

His name was confirmed by Tui T. Sutherland at the Maynard Book Festival on April 7th, 2018.
Discription
     Blue has gemlike azure scales and iridescent violet wings, brighter and more purple than his scales. On the cover of The Lost Continent, he is depicted as the opposite: purple with blue wings.
Biography
     Blue is woken up by Luna, who excitedly announces that it is her metamorphosis day. They set out to gather honey drops to use to celebrate after saying goodbye to Silverspot, but Blue is nervous due to his mother's expression. On their way they pass a group of propaganda posters warning them about LeafWings and the dangers of disobeying the queen, and Blue and Luna have a brief disagreement about whether LeafWings still exist. Afterwards, they encounter Hawker, a HiveWing who checks their identification and remarks about Luna's metamorphosis. That all we know (For now).}

She is suspicious about Queen Wasp's true motivations for fostering fear about LeafWings, and is highly intelligent. She had the highest grade in her class in silk studies. She is described to have a unique scale color, wings, and face by Qibli, who originally mistook her for a hybrid. She has a rare ability known as "flamesilk", which she inherited from her father.
Discription
     Luna has been described as pale green with gold flecks along her back and tail. After her Metamorphosis, she is described as having whorls of cobalt and gold in her wings.
Biogarphy
Darkness of dragons
     In the epilogue, she was being tended to by Jerboa II, as she was injured from a storm that had blown her from Pantala to Pyrrhia. She was seen lying on a bed of palm fronds and was noted to sit up and eye Moon and Qibli warily as they entered. She was said by Jerboa II to be the first visitor from the Lost Continent.
The lost continet
     Luna is first mentioned when Blue is thinking about how smart she is and how it is her metamorphosis day. She then wakes him up, excited to get her wings. Blue tells her she technically has a few days until her wings come as she yells,  "It's today! It's today!" She then turns Blue's hammock over, dumping him on the ground.
     In the epilogue, when Jerboa II finds her, Luna has just awoken, half covered by sand on a Pyrrhian beach. She asks Jerboa II who she is, and Jerboa II is relieved that Luna can speak Dragon. Jerboa II takes Luna to her hut, where she meets Moon and Qibli. She is shocked by how much Moon looks like Clearsight, and then learns that Moon can see the future, like Clearsight, and says her tribe needs Moon. She then thinks, 'We're coming for you, Queen Wasp. And now we have a dragon who can really see the future. The reign of the HiveWings is over.'}

You see what the main character sees you feel what the main character feels and you go thru what the main character goes thru. A book is a good place to escape for just a little while. For me it is a place were I don't have to worry it is my happy place. 
     I am very picky about books bout once I find the right one I would stay up untile 12 am reading. I only like very few another's and Mrs. Sutherland is one of them.
