The main points of discussion were about the student loans the application process, and the timeline and time leading up until the September 2017 and the start of university. We also discussed the process of writing the personal statement and the structure and what to include in the personal statement, such as reasons for studying in your chosen course and also why do you want to study at university and why do you think you would be suitable for your chosen course, also other extra curricular activities and any other things to mention. And finally applying for the UCAS online and the steps involved in to get the username and login details, Another important factor is deciding the choices of universities and then narrowing it down to a shortlist of 5 universities and applying for it on the UCAS website including the Institution code and the course and campus code and also to include whether you are going to live at home or on the university campus, it is also important to include the school you came from and the start and the end date of the course you are applying for at university. It is also important to enter the credits of the course that you are currently studying and the credits and the grades that you got in the course as this is vital information for the university that they will need. The event was called Design your Future and at the event, there were lots of universities and colleges and apprenticeships and different paths and schemes in education, there to speak to and gain information on different courses and different universities and other opportunities they had to offer. Also i collected a lot of prospectus from different universities and other freebie's they had there. The event was useful because talking to the different universities and people there were very knowledgeable and friendly and easy to talk to about the courses and universities and there to help if needed. I thought this event was useful because it showed me what is out there and what other universities and other places had to offer and what is out there in the world of university and work. Also the people at the event were also very good at giving guidance and advice on career paths and what may would for you given on your chosen interests.
