Another reason I chose the north was because there was also railroad tracks to go anywhere you want to go to. The north also has more cool weather which I like compared to warm weather and more snow days! They also had a lot of careers of business, education, and medicine (plus easier to find a job if you are unemployed) so if you needed to go to the hospital, it would be easier to find a doctor and they were educated better so they can treat illnesses better too. The sad thing is that farming is bad because they don’t have good soil to have farms or plantations. You also can’t have as much land in the north than the south. I wouldn’t want to live in the south because there wouldn’t be enough job opportunities so therefore it would be a very low income community.
