Everything can be achieved through cooperation, even the Corona virus can be avoided and destroyed and one thing that we can do is to wash our hands. The corona virus is enclosed in a membrane that is made up of lipids, now the soap that has substances similar to the lipids enclosing the virus will now "compete" and eventually the virus' membrane will be destroyed thus making the virus slip away from our hands making us safe from infection.

Handwashing is pretty easy but sometimes we just make our hands wet and calls it handwashing. The bacteria that is in your hands are still there. The correct way of washing hands is by washing the hands as long as the happy birthday song as prescribed by the WHO.
https://www.who.int/gpsc/clean_hands_protection/en/

Avoid going out if not necessary. The virus is invisible to the naked eye and traces of it can be anywhere. Let's say you didn't fell ill but the virus left a trace in one of your belongings maybe your clothes or something you bought, always be meticulous and disinfect the things that you buy or delivered. Practice social distancing when going out, wear your mask or face shield and always ready your alcohol for disinfecting. When going inside the house always take a bath first to protect your family from possible contamination. These simple things are big steps in protecting you and your family from the corona virus.

The pandemic really showed the incompetent buffoons among the competent leaders. This is not the time to be selfish and greedy. I hope all public officials take example from mayor Vico Sotto. I can't say that the Philippines have been very good at handling the Covid situation. I am disappointed at the clownery of the higher officials. Anyway, let's talk about the community's precautions to flatten the curve.

When the Enhanced Community Quarantine started, every Saturday there will a police car going around town saying: "Bawal po lumabas ang lahat tuwing Linggo" and then every weekend the "market day" for every barangay will be announced by the police car and also posted online and at the brgy. hall. They disinfects our barangay at night and set checkpoints at every boundaries. They gave away "ayudas" for every houses within the barangay, enforced strict policies and curfews.
I hope this virus made us learn something, to value every little thing, to value family and to value freedom because all of this are worth valuing.
