I was obsessed with patterns and flowers. I drew them for hours every day. I have no idea how I ended up studying Fine Art in a course that I was too immature to either appreciate or really take much from. One thing was for sure though - there were to be no flower paintings and no patterns. 
I only started painting flowers again after my mom died. It was almost compulsive. I haven’t stopped. And recently, I started creating pattern again. I create my own stencils and print them onto thin paper using a gelliplate.  I’m having so much fun and finally feel as though my art is for me again.
