Point and Evidence: '‘Praise song for my mother
….“You were” means that the mother loved his so much probably when he was young 

Analyse: The use of ‘repetition’ in “You were ” suggests that the mother can’t forget the feeling that she had in the past.
We learn/ understand that she love her son more than the moon or anything else

‘Also… ‘’ sunrise to me’’ means that her soul was warming just by looking at her son giving her heppines. 

This makes the reader think….that there is nothing in the world that can replace her lovely son.

Evaluate: Therefore…the mother is telling us in many comparisons how much she love her son and what it means to her.
