We intend to use short scenes throughout the trailer, as these help to intrigue the audience, due to the minimal amount of dialogue. Also, by showing short scenes, we are not giving away the whole story to the audience, resulting in viewers to be curious and thinking what will happen next. Our initial idea on our storyboard for the trailer, is presented in narrative order, however, we have decided to change the sequence of the scenes, in order to conform to existing trailers. I think that by doing this, we will be encouraging audiences to use their own imagination, in order to figure out what the story line of the trailer may be, as this evidently relates to Barthes' Enigma Code Theory. We did not include titles and the release date on our storyboard, however, to make our trailer seem professional, we plan to incorporate them whilst editing, as this will help create suspense and lure the audience in to watching the whole film. Our storyboard consists of up to 15 scenes, in order to create the trailer.
