Youthpass is a tool that gives the word to the learners in describing their learning outcomes.

Youthpass is the recognition instrument developed for the projects realised in the European youth programmes. Through the Youthpass certificate, participation in such projects can be recognised as an educational experience and a period of non-formal and informal learning. Youthpass foresees a process applied throughout the project life-cycle to support the learning of participants. It also serves as a strategy that improves the recognition of non-formal learning in Europe.

Youth exchanges take place outside the school environment. On a youth exchange, you can expect to participate in activities such as workshops, exercises, debates, role-plays, outdoor activities and more.

Participants' learning experiences are recognised through a Youthpass.

Youth exchanges last between 5 and 21 days. This excludes travelling time.

Youth exchanges are open to people between the ages of 13 and 30. To be a group leader in a youth exchange, you must be at least 18 years-old.

Youth exchanges are managed by youth organisations, informal groups of young people or other organisations.

The EU grant supports travel as well as practical and activity-related costs necessary for the exchange.

To participate in a youth exchange, you cannot apply directly for a grant as an individual. Applications must be made by an organisation or a group of young people who in turn select who will participate in the exchange.

If you need help in finding a suitable participating organisation or have any questions, the Erasmus+ National Agency in your country will assist you.

The first day of project was filled mainly with energizers and games based on getting to know each other. After learning each others names, we divided into groups and did a Treasure hunt, which helped us explore Obzor and get closer with the other participants. The project so far has been interesting and fun as we have been communicating and working in international groups, and learning different points of views.

We started the day with a final energizer aimed to get to know each other at the beach. Afterwards, we continued with our sessions as planned.

Today in our project, we focused on understanding the concept of Erasmus, learning about Youthpass, Youth Exchange, other programmes supported by Erasmus and exploring digital terms and everyday digital tools .

Erasmus is a European Union (EU) program that promotes international student exchanges and mobility. It allows students to study or do an internship in another European country, fostering cultural understanding, cooperation, and personal development.

During our session, we delved into the importance of Youthpass. Youthpass is a tool/certificate developed by the EU for participants in Erasmus+ and other youth projects. It aims to recognize and validate the learning experiences, skills, and competencies gained during these projects. Youthpass provides participants with a certificate that can be included in CVs and job applications, highlighting the value of their international experience.

Next, we explored digital terms and everyday digital tools 1.0. This session focused on introducing basic digital concepts and tools that are commonly used in daily life. We discussed terms like digital literacy, online security, privacy, and the responsible use of digital resources. During this session , we played a very interesting and interactive game of Connect4 , which drastically improved our positive feelings and participation.

We also explored various everyday digital tools on a basic level, which encompassed widely used applications and platforms. 

Throughout the day, participants engaged in interactive activities, such as hands-on exercises with digital tools, discussions on digital terms, and the importance of digital skills in the modern world. The goal was to enhance participants' digital literacy and empower them to make informed decisions when using digital technologies.

We ended the day with the Romanian intercultural night, which has shown us parts from their culture that were extremely interesting and that we didn't know before such as some dances, habits and traditions. As participants , we look forward to see what other new information we can get in the following days !

Overall, the day in our Erasmus project proved to be an enriching experience, fostering intercultural connections, promoting personal growth, and equipping participants with essential digital skills and knowledge for the digital era.

The second day was very interesting and educational for each of us. We started with a few energizers and then 2 persons from our teams presented a few digital tools that we can use, for example Obsidian and Capcut. We had a little discussion next to review the things we learned. After lunch we went to the beach where we had the chance to speak more in depth and do a list of tasks which were very fun and we put our new skills to use. At night, the Macedonian team had their cultural night where we had fun with some games, traditional food, we learned their traditional dances which were very entertaining. We completed the day with a beach party where we all relaxed and had fun.

Our next task was to make a brain storm on the topic "Digital literacy challenges". We devided into 6 groups, created a mind map picking out several key words that we expanded and elaborated. We presented them developing a discussion about the digital challenges that we face in every day life, offered some solutions and tips and then we had a short break.

Afterwards we were told that we will stay in the same groups for the next 3 days, in order to start a social platform campaign. We were told to start thinking about names, logo ideas, colours of our group and objectives of the project. After the lunch break we had time to start working on our campaign. Our tasks were to:

1. Write 3 short

2. Film 2 videos for Youtube

3. Film 3 reels for Instagram/Tiktok

They gave us time until 5 pm to finish the assignment and come to present it. We didn't have to do it all at once, just as much as we could.

Afterwards, at 5pm we gathered and presented our ideas infront of everybody.

After dinner, we had the Czech cultural night, which meant that we learned some fun facts about the Czech Republic, which the Czech team presented throughout a quiz on Kahoot. They also had a couple of drinking them, which included some traditional drinks. We had a chance to try amazing Czech sweets and specific food, as well as beer, Slivovica, Borovicka and Zelena. At the end we finished our night the best way we could have done it - dancing. The Czech team showed us how to dance polka. We all grouped in a boy - girl couples and danced until we learned it perfectly. It was a wonderful day :D

Lastly, limit your screen time and take breaks from social media. Spending excessive time online can negatively impact your mental and emotional well-being. Set boundaries for yourself, prioritize real-life connections, and engage in activities that promote personal growth and development.

On Saturday we started the day with the energizer game called I have a rabbit.., it was fun and during this game everyone managed to wake up and start working.Than Danny prepared a presentation for us about social media and how it works, how we can get followers, what time to put all the stories and posts and also how different algorithms work.

Around 11 o'clock we started the Fanta challenge. For this challenge we were divided into 6 groups and every group had to go around the city and try to get a Fanta for free and then also other stuff without buying it. All groups had great success and every group brought a large amount of different things. For example they managed to get for free many chocolates, tea, fruit, souvenirs, clothes and even a table. Their thanks to the lovely owners of shops was dancing, helping to put things from shop to shop, sweeping and others. Then everyone could take what they brought.

As an afternoon program, we did our campaigns. Everyone worked to complete the youtube videos, reels, tiktoks and posts for social media. Every group worked separately.

Of course there was also a cultural night and that was Turkish night.They prepared for us a lot of their national snacks, fun games, little quiz and even taught us a dance.It was wonderful day.

That day at the youth exchange was brimming with excitement, learning opportunities, and vibrant cultural exchange. Later in the day, a Turkish team presented who shared their expertise in media literacy and digital citizenship. They provided valuable insights and practical tips on how to navigate the digital landscape responsibly and ethically, how to use ChatGPT.

Throughout the day, we actively participated in various group activities and team-building exercises, which fostered collaboration and strengthened the bonds among our diverse group of young participants. In addition to that, we dedicated time to creating impactful campaigns, focusing on raising awareness about media literacy. To accomplish this, we collaborated on generating engaging content specifically tailored for platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.

As the day drew to a close, we indulged in a vibrant cultural night, filled with enjoyment. Our French team took the lead and organized a delightful cheese tasting masterclass, offering a variety of national snacks for everyone to enjoy. We also conducted a fun quiz, testing our knowledge of French culture. Additionally, we shared the unique French way of greeting each other, adding a touch of authenticity to the evening.

To top it all off, we presented a captivating men's cabaret performance, showcasing the elegance and charm of traditional French entertainment. The energy was contagious, and soon all the participants joined in the dance, creating a joyful and lively atmosphere. Laughter filled the room as we bonded through shared experiences and embraced the cultural richness of each other's backgrounds. It was a night filled with camaraderie, entertainment, and unforgettable memories.
