How the Pythagorean theorem plays a role in this activity is in order to have a safe zip line you have to find the hypotenuse of " triangle that is given before you. Thus making it the perfect equation because you are able to know two parts of the equation the height of how tall you want the zip line and how long you want to be. So the theorem works perfectly in the project because of what you need to now in order to figure out any side. Helping in this project because it is the most accurate number you can get without estimating.
